Although some of them produce edible fruit like the fig tree also called
Ficus carica are deciduous and loose their foliage at the season and
go dormant for a period of time, the most common varieties like Ficus
benjamina are the ones we see utilized as indoor house plants
and decorate our surroundings.
Ficus provide us with a pleasant indoor environment and even help to
scrub
the indoor air clean of pollutants.
The Ficus tree grows very quickly with the correct
temperatures, right amount of light, proper feeding and watering and
is produced in very large numbers in south Florida's foliage industry.
There are many different shapes and sizes available for almost any use
one can imagine. You'll find bush, tree, braids, twist, topiary and
more.

of all. You may also know it as the weeping ficus or weeping fig. Some
of the most well known ficus varieties are Ficus lyrata or fiddle leaf
ficus, Ficus elastica or rubber tree, and Ficus microcarpa the green island
ficus.

offices and of course our hearts. Once you
